Abrasive Belts

Grit: from D60 to D400
Flat Edge: The most used grits are D120 and D200, occasionlly D60 for high stock removal and D320 for a more accurate finishing
Seaming:
use D200 for seaming of 0,5 mm on glass from 3 to 5 mm
use D120 for seaming of 1,0 mm on glass from 6 to 10 mm

Suggested working speed: 20 - 40 m/s, maximum speed: 45 m/s
Flexible abrasive belts work in the best way at 25-32 m s, offering the maximum productivity.
Coolant: they should be always used with a coolant
They function well even when used at the same speed of the “conventional” abrasive belts

Note: The conventional abrasive belts are used at 12-15 m/s
