Diamond tools for dressing rubber and cork, resin and vitrified wheels.

They consist of a number of natural diamonds with excellent crystalline structure and fixed with a special wear-resistant binder. Diamonds can be arranged in a single layer or in multiple layers, depending on the application of the diamond dressing tool.

The numerous diamond grains that come into contact with the surface of the grinding wheel guarantee a longer life of the tool itself together with its complete use.

The multi-grain type is generally used for large wheels. To obtain the maximum tool life, after positioning the tool in the center of the grinding wheel, the cutting depth must be between 0.01 and 0.04 mm, taking care also to use a lot of coolant.

Diamond dressing tools can be produced with 3, 5, 12 and 21 grains according to the type of application.

The single-tipped diamond dresser is the most used tool for dressing the grinding wheels. It is made with carefully selected rough diamonds which are mounted on supports using special binders.

The selection of diamonds depends on the size of the grinding wheel, its degree of hardness, the type of abrasive used and the dressing required.

The main functions of this tool are to remove the abrasive grains that have completely worn out and to restore the correct geometric shape of the grinding wheel used.
