Centerless, flat, cylindrical, internal, profile and face grinding, are only some of the applications that we can satisfy.
Siapi Smartech ceramic bonded wheels are very suitable for working on centerless grinding machineries in ROUGHING and SEMI FINISHING operations.
They are able to remove up to 0.4 mm., ensuring dimensional tolerance of the diameter, roundness and shape of the piece. The obtainable roughness ranges from 0.60 to 0.30 microns Ra.
This type of grinding wheel is particularly suitable for working on steel with very high hardness and therefore allows a reduction of the grinding times compared to wheels with a non-ceramic binder.

CERAMIC = REPEATABILITY AND CONSTANCE OVER TIME

The high standard of the production cycle combined with the type of binder, allow high repeatability in compliance with the strict construction tolerances. Different types of porosity are also available, in order to drastically increase the stock removal through better refrigeration and colder cutting.
